The recent launch of Mount Sinai’s Center for Excellence in Children’s Environmental Health at North Shore Medical Group was a huge success! Please take a look at the comprehensive and informative article in The Long Islander regarding the launch and our Look Before You L.E.A.P. program. L.E.A.P. is an acronym for lead, endocrine disruptors, air pollution and pesticides, which are four prominent toxins in our environment. The program provides environmental health information and resources for families and children including games and reference cards.

We’d like to thank the Suffolk County Child Care Council, Debbie Virga from the Commack PTA and CorrieAnn Young from Half Hollow Hills PTA for their partnership and support.
