Huntington High School Art Honor Society,
For almost a year, students from the community have been assisting in the design & construction of the bracelets that are sold at many venues to raise money for educational programs offered by HBCAC. Many of these students have had a relative touched by cancer and
their involvement in making and selling jewelry has been therapeutic. In addition to the jewelry lessons, students educated about prevention, and discuss ways to reduce the incidence of cancer and other diseases. Wisdom is circular and young people can often be the best educators. We salute the young members of our community for their dedication and hard work. Bringing the HBCAC message
into the schools is a passion and mission for Laura and JoAnn, creators of EmBraceable You products. Take A Bow Huntington High School Art Honor Society … You’re In The Spotlight!

Teachers and staff from Jefferson Elementary
School in Huntington

Hats off to the staff of Jefferson Elementary School for being huge supporters of HBCAC… through sales of bracelets for Mother’s Day or other holidays; as well as their annual breast cancer awareness month fundraiser. Throughout the year, Embraceable You has been invited often to display their bracelets
and raise money for the programs offered by the HBCAC. It is more than just buying bracelets-a festive coming together of people who chat and share information about friends and loved ones going through the cancer journey. So many people have expressed their gratitude for the information and outreach HBCAC provides. Take A Bow Jefferson Elementary Staff … You’re In the Spotlight!
